[2024-0103] The Seafaring Sandbox RPG Uncharted Waters Origin, serviced by LINE Games and co-developed by Motif and KOEI TECMO GAMES, revealed the new S Grade Admiral, ‘Qi Jiguang’, on January 3.

New Mates, ‘Qin Liangyu’, ‘Ipbu’, ‘Gwon Jun’, ‘Na Daeyong’, and ‘Yi Woonryong’ were also added with the update, as well as a new in-game feature, the ‘Suez Canal’.

Moreover, Uncharted Waters Origin will be holding a ‘New Year Special Attendance’ event until January 31 and provide various benefits to users who log into the game in the new year.

》 New S Grade Admiral who specializes in Combat, ‘Qi Jiguang’!

The new S Grade Admiral, ‘Qi Jiguang’, is a Ming military official. He sets sail to build an army and to write a training book so he can save people suffering from foreign invasions. He has Admiral’s Orders and skills specialized in combat. Users who unlock his Memoirs can complete his Chronicle without consuming Energy.

Users who complete the ‘Qi Jiguang’ Chronicle can obtain various items, such as 5 Tickets for ‘Qin Liangyu’, the new S Grade Mate, Superior Mate EXP Potions, and Superior Mate Tickets.

》 New S Grade Mate, ‘Qin Liangyu’

The new S Grade Mate, ‘Qin Liangyu’, has various job effects that are useful during melee combat, such as Increase Melee Critical Chance and Amplify Melee Critical Chance.

Other than ‘Qin Liangyu’, ‘Ipbu’, an S Grade Mate, ‘Gwon Jun’, an A Grade Mate, and B Grade Mates ‘Na Daeyong’ and ‘Yi Woonryong’ have also been added to the game.

》 Shorten sailing distance with the new ‘Suez Canal’

The ‘Suez Canal’, which connects the Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, and the Indian Ocean, has been added with this update. The ‘Suez Canal’ drastically decreases sailing distance in the game, and can be used after paying a fee that is set based on the share status of ports.

Uncharted Waters Origin will be holding a ‘New Year Special Attendance’ event until January 31 to celebrate the new year. Users who log into the game during the event period can obtain items such as ‘Happy 2024’, a limited Appellation, ‘Diamond Astrolabe’, ‘Enhanced Zheng He Fleet’, an A Grade Part, and the ‘Dragon Board of the New Year’, an Event Part.
